My Approach

How we get there

Our first session together we will establish our working agreements that you want to have in our coaching.  This is important to establish the trust, boundaries, and get more clarity on your goals.  It is OK to not be fully clear on where you want to go, we can explore that together.

A typical session starts out with a check in, followed by getting clear on a topic and what your goals are.  Again, part of this exploration may be to help that process.

Through a series of questions, understanding how you are relating to a given topic or situation, we can begin to explore what may be keeping you reactive and not allowing you to move forward in a way that honors your values and goals.

We then reframe the situation using more questions, metaphors, and other techniques (such as Values exercises, Purpose exercises, etc), to help you look at the situation from other perspectives.

This allows you to move to a Creative mindset, and not just reacting to the situation.  Being in the Creative mindset helps you to make choices and ultimately actions based on your strengths and what would help you to move forward.

Finally, we talk about the action steps that you want to take, and how you will take accountability for those actions and results.

Remember, everything you want is on the other side of that Creative Action!
