Meet Alex.

I am a passionate learner, who values growth and challenge.  Whether it is deepening my faith, taking on a fitness challenge, or growing this coaching vocation, I enjoy combining challenge with purpose.

I started my professional career as an Engineer in Aerospace, and quickly looked for ways to challenge myself in my environment.  I didn’t necessarily have a goal or a purpose, but I liked learning new things on the job.  I was able to progress from an Associate Engineer to a Senior Engineer within a few satellite programs, and was faced with a decision of continuing in the technical realm, or explore the management side of the business.  I knew that I enjoyed the relationship and mentorship side, and chose to move to Program Management.  My progression continued, eventually  retiring from my primary career as a Senior Director within the Mission Assurance organization.

I wasn’t done with Aerospace, and I continued as a consultant to a Washington DC based boutique strategy firm, law firms specializing in Aerospace litigation, and bringing my expertise to a large Aerospace company with Program Manager processes.

After 36 years and supporting over a dozen satellite missions, I’ve made the pivot to a new vocation of Leadership and Performance Coaching.  And, it was not without intention.  I believe that identifying and using your gifts in community is what brings you joy.

I have received my Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification from Brown University/ACT in Providence, RI. I am a member of the International Coaching Federations (ICF).

Being a Coach can use my identified strengths, and helping others achieve their goals and aspirations is highly satisfying.

Outside of my coaching, I enjoy Spiritual Direction, and have a Spiritual Director in the Ignatian path.  I value fitness, and weightlifting and biking help me get better at getting older!

I have two adult children, a super cute granddaughter, and have been married to Melody, a professional artist, for over 20 years. We love to travel and experience different cultures and especially new food.

I look forward to supporting you along your growth path. Let’s do this together!
